Vasil Vasilev

Vasil Vasilev was born in 1957 in the village of Zmeyno, Omurtag Municipality. He graduated in Painting at the St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Turnovo (1982). He works mostly painting, but is also active as a schedule and sculptor. He is a member of the International Fund of Moscow Artists (2001).

His private exhibitions in Bulgaria are moving between two and five years - from 1984 to 2005. Heidelberg, Moscow, the Netherlands. The collective exhibitions in which he participates are from Europe to Canada, with only ten appearances in the International Biennale of Graphics in Varna, followed by presentations in Maastricht, Ljubljana and Bitola. Vassil Vassilev's works are owned by private collections in Bulgaria, Russia, USA, Spain, Norway, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, France. She lives and works in Varna.
