Zina Mihaylova Yurdanova was born on June 28, 1904. in Sofia. Through its long creative path, it leaves a strong trace of Bulgarian painting. At 93, on April 3, 1998, Zina Yordanova leaves this world.

From 1923 to 1926 he studied painting at the Academy of Arts in Sofia in the class of Prof. Stefan Ivanov, but graduated from the Munich Art Academy, where Professors Moritz Heinmann and Professor Carl von Maar, with whom they specialized more Dechko Uzunov and Boris Denev.

Yurdanova begins his creative path in the field of the portrait. He painted a series of portraits of famous artists such as Stefan Bobchev (1935), Vasil Stoilov (1940) and Stoyan Venev (1947). In 1940, he painted his own self-portrait. Preferred techniques are watercolor, tempera, oil paints, and after 1972 - acrylic paints.

Her later creative works are in the field of landscape, still life and figural composition. The canvases of Zina Yudanova are owned by the National Art Gallery, the Sofia City Art Gallery, the city galleries in Vidin, Dobrich, Kyustendil, Kardzhali, Pleven, Sliven, as well as many private collections in Bulgaria and abroad.

Her works take part in many general art exhibitions in Sofia and the country. Independent exhibitions Irddanova organized in 1964, 1965, 1971, 1977, 1981, 1987, 1993 and 1994. In 1947 her paintings were exhibited in Paris, as well as in 1994, when she took part in the Autumn Salon of Arts.

Zina Yurdanova is a two-time winner of the Cyril and Methodius Order: III degree in 1967 and I degree in 1984.
