Mihail Lalov with a jubilee painting exhibition

"She is the painting, the color, the touch, the emotion, even the music I listen to when I work in the studio. She is life, love and family. She is the eternal muse and the eternal art. She is the search, the discovery, the beginning of the canvas, even the signature. beneath it, guaranteeing that it is you and the world that was created to be discovered in a different way." Ivan Obretenov in a solo exhibition

Ivan Obretenov in a solo exhibition

The author's recognizable pastel compositions with delicately distinguished objects and people, created especially for his presentation in the gallery, are united under the motto "Autumn". The philosophically explored theme of autumn in the life and annual cycle is a sense of mystery, evoking the viewer's intellect, his associative thought and his senses for the joy of life and the small details that make sense of the day. For the current exhibition, the artist has expanded his lyrical autumnal ballad with several large-format compositions, several portraits, several easel canvases and bronze sculptures, summarizing his artistic and philosophical personality.

"The Wellspring of Joy" by Aneta Yalamova

"The Wellspring of Joy" by Aneta Yalamova

From the 8th of September to the 5th of October in the space of the Art Gallery Le Papillon in Varna, Aneta Yalamova takes us with her painting exhibition "The Wellspring of Joy" to a beautiful past time of timeless values. Her cheerful works in a retro-naive style retain the warmth of the flying summer with nostalgic nuances, taking us for a walk through the streets in the 20s and 30s of the 20th century in old Tarnovo, old Varna or in the countryside. This favorite period of Bulgarian history for Yalamova is a time of rapid development and growth of the Bulgarian city and village with the incoming European orders, fashion, cars, railways and is perhaps the most romantic time of ideals, new hopes, respect for old traditions and their interweaving with the new, of longing to be together, united in our joy.
