Graphic exhibitions

Traditionally, every year in January, the days in the exhibition calendar of Art Gallery Le Papillon are dedicated to the tribute to graphic art, with which many Bulgarian artists demonstrate their talent on the international stage. The focus of the selection of this 16th edition of "From the Collections" from January 29 to February 22, 2026 is placed on established names in Bulgarian art, who have long since transcended the borders of the homeland, whose works are part of prestigious private collections in Bulgaria and abroad, offered at international auctions and included in the exhibitions of major European galleries. The presented artists express themselves in all genres of fine and applied art, and part of their creative path inevitably includes the mastery of graphic techniques in different periods. 

For the 14th consecutive year, Art Gallery Le Papillon, traditionally in January, meets fans of graphic art in small and large format with a selection of awarded works and the latest works of beloved, established, awarded and young artists, expressing themselves by means of graphics, drawing with a needle, pencil, in black and white shades or in color lithography and watercolor. Developing and renewing the tradition, along with the old techniques such as etching, lithography, drypoint, mezzotint, aquatint, woodcut, in each edition we include drawings in watercolor, ink, pencil, sanguine. We also pay attention to modern and electronic technologies entering the art with the presentation of animated interpretations of graphics, digital graphics.

От 23-ти януари до 19-ти февруари 2020 г. пространството на галерия Le Papillon е домакин на тринадесето издание „Из колекциите“- изложба графика малък формат и екслибрис. По традиция, вече 13 поредни години, радваме почитателите на това изкуство със специална селекция творби на утвърдени автори. И тъй като традициите трябва не само да се съхраняват, но и да се доразвиват, в предходните ни издания допълвахме графичния израз с рисунки с туш, молив, сангин, отдадохме внимание и на електронните технологии,  навлизащи в изкуството с представянето на анимирани интерпретации по графики.

From 24 January to 20 February 2019, the Le Papillon Art Gallery space hosts the twelfth edition of "From Collections" - drawing of small format and exlibris graphics. Traditionally, for 12 consecutive years, I make delightful the fans of this art with a special selection of works of established authors. And since traditions need not only to be preserved but also further more developed, in our previous editions we have added to the graphic expression with drawings with ink, pencil, sangin, we have also paid attention to the electronic technologies entering in the art with the presentation of animated interpretations of graphics.
