Kiril Bozhkov

Kiril Bozhkov was born in 1964 in the village of Novi Han, Sofia district. He graduated from the National Art School in 1983 and Nikolay Pavlovich in 1991 (specialty Fresco"). Since 1996, he has worked as a lecturer at the Painting Department of the National Academy of Arts. He is currently a PhD Associate Professor, Head of Atelier. He has more than 60 solo exhibitions and over 200 participations in collective exhibitions in the country and abroad. In 2012, he defended a dissertation entitled "New Parameters of the Virtuosity Imagination in Figure Painting in the 20th Century", published under the title "Virtuosity and Painting" (National Academy of Fine Arts, 2014). In the period 2009 - 2013 his wife owns "Art Gallery Kiril Bozhkov", Sofia."
